Rigodon

I don't usually watch Indie Film because for me it's kinda boring unlike MMFF. This film, Rigodon captured my attention because of my friends. They told me that there is a film entitled Rigodon that the main actress is sexy and beautiful, her name is Yam Concepcion. I've done watching the movie last 2012 together with my friends.
Erik Matti's Rigodon, unlike the many infidelity films that have plagued local theaters in the Philippines, eschews glamour for grit. Its sex scenes do not have the luscious lighting or the saccharine scoring of the various romantic sequences of its more audience-friendly kin. Instead, the sex is sweaty, raunchy, awkward, and set in either the most ordinary or uncomfortable of locations.
Still reeling from a failed relationship, Sarah (Yam Concepcion) is desperate for a boyfriend who would both please her and her overbearing father. She meets Riki (John James Uy), a reality show contestant who can never seem to convert his erstwhile exposure to bankable fame, in a party. The two hit it off, developing a relationship that sates both Sarah's needs and Riki's desire for attention. However, Riki is already married, to severely domesticated Regine (Max Eigenmann), whose only diversion from mother duties is cupcake-baking.

Director
-The film is directed by Erik Matti. His most notable achievement in film is Magic Temple, which won top honors for Best Screenplay (shared with Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes) during the 1996 Metro Manila Film Festival. He has also been nominated as Best Director in the Gawad Urian Awards and Film Academy of the Philippines Awards.
Producer
-The budget of the film was lesser than a MMFF film. For me, the two leading actors are not well knowned. The setting of the film are in ordinary places.
Camera
-The camera is steady enough for me to watch it not like the other Indie Films that are to shaky and lack of focused on the actors.
Lighting
-The lighting of the film is enough but some scenes is too dark.
In the WOTL Make your Own Indie Film Part 2:
-In the film there were no prostitute and gay element but there are sex scenes but not totally like a full porn that you can watch in pornsites.
In the WOTL Make your Own Indie Film Part 3:
-In the film, there was subtitle. The two main characters of the film are not totally knowned in my opinion because I've never heard their names until my friends told me about their movie.
